Christian Service Program
Since Regina students come from various parts of the metropolitan area, the required Christian service-learning program links Regina High School to the communities represented by the student population. Students have the opportunity to perform service for the parish or church community to which they belong, thus reinforcing their connection to their faith community.
Through this experience, students live the Christian value of service to others, learn to understand the responsibilities of a good citizen and expand their understanding of issues that affect the community in which they live.
This service-learning experience promotes personal and intellectual growth in students and helps students apply taught skills and knowledge. It provides students with the opportunity to work with professionals in varied careers as well as occasions for career exploration on a one-on-one basis.
Essays are collected by the Religious Studies teachers. Seniors without a second-semester Religion class should submit their papers to Mrs. Forys in the front office.
