Become a Saddlelite for a Day

Do you want to be a 'Saddlelite for a Day' and experience what it is like to be a Regina student? Our shadow program will run Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays throughout the school year. Shadow visits are available for all 7th and 8th-grade girls interested in Regina.

Your day starts at 9:00 AM and will allow for a tour of the school at that time. Parents are welcome to stay for the tour if they would like. Pick-up from the school will be at 2:30 PM. Click here for more information!

Distinguished Alumna Award Recipient Announced

We are pleased to announce that Carol Vandevoort Goodman '74 is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumna Award! As a leader at General Motors and currently the President of the Mount Vernon Club, Carol has been committed to the values that were instilled in her from her Regina roots. She believes in the importance of female leadership, mentorship, and education - supporting and creating non-profit programs that focus on these causes. She has been awarded for her professional work as well as her philanthropy efforts. She truly lives out the Franciscan call of service. Learn more about this distinguished alumna here!

Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Debra Prakobkij for being selected as Regina’s Teacher of the Year by her fellow teachers. She is the Science Department Head and has been working tirelessly this year to bring quality in-person and online STEM projects and learning to the students of Regina, including our new Engineering Essentials course! She says, “I love working in an all-girls school. It gives them more freedom to take on challenging math and science subjects." When she is not at school, you might find her at the restaurant she owns in Mt. Clemens, New Age Noodles. Thank you for your hard work and dedication this year!

Congratulations to Ann Diamond for winning the “Amazing Catholic Educator - Principal Award” from the Catholic Foundation of Michigan! Regina is truly blessed to have such an amazing woman leading and encouraging our Saddlelites. As an alumna of Regina, she truly knows what it is like to be in their saddle shoes!

Return to 100% In-Person Instruction
