Spring Sports Athletic Banquet is June
4th, 6:30 pm @ DeCarlos' in Warren
On
Saturday, February 23rd, the Regina Varsity hockey game will be
played in honor of Mr. Kevin Erne,
who passed away on February 2nd. Mr. Erne is the father of
Regina J.V. Hockey player, Kelsey Erne. All raffle sales and
gate profits from the Feb. 23rd game will go to the Erne family.
The game will take place at 8pm at the St. Clair Shores
Civic Arena.

Cross Country

The Regina Cross Country Team was undefeated in sectional
competition and so became the Sectional Champion - for the
first time in the school's history!
-
The team was selected for the Catholic League Sportsmanship
Award for the 5th time
-
They qualified for State Finals
-
The following girls made All-Catholic and All-Region: Gina
Valgoi, Renee Cholyway, Mallory Sneden, Beth Ponkowski
-
They ranked 6th in the State as a team academically

Softball Championship
Regina
High School runners Mallory Sneden, Anna Maria
Paruk, Beth Ponkowski and Gina Valgoi placed sixth in
the 4 x 800 relay at the Division II state track
championship on June 2, 2007 at Zeeland High School with
a school record time of 9:48.49. Gina Valgoi is also a
two-time All-Stater in cross country and holds the CYO
mile record. The Regina
team is coached by
Gregg
Golden, Becky Hendren and
Bob Valgoi.

Regina's own Felicia Goll won the Bowling State Championship at
the Girls Division II Individual
Tournament, held on March 3 in Battle Creek. Felicia's
scores were as follows:

Round of 16 - Felicia defeated Lacey Boyer of Coldwater
203-153 and 204-164.

Quarterfinals - Felicia defeated Brittney Patterson of Bangor
John Glenn 223-224, 201-199 and 241-225.

Semifinals - Felicia defeated Ashlee Mefford of Coldwater
227-221 and 247-242

Finals - Felicia defeated Kristine Ostby of Mt. Morris 235-177
and 204-199
