About Us
Regina High School began as a dream of the late Cardinal Mooney
of
Detroit.
This dream was realized when
Regina
opened in September 1956.
Regina
High School is a Catholic,
private, four year college preparatory high school for girls,
sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Third Order of St.
Francis. The high school is fully accredited by the North
Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and is a
member of the National Catholic Education Association and the
Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools.
Regina High School's goal is to educate the whole person. This
is achieved by emphasizing three important areas: 1) growth in
Christian life; 2) expansion of intellectual life; and 3)
development of individual talents and interests.
Our motto is:
TRANSFORMING GIRLS INTO WOMEN OF FAITH AND
VISION IN THE FRANCISCAN TRADITION.
Currently, Regina High School students live in 38 cities and
townships representing four metropolitan Detroit counties.
Students entered Regina
from 72 different middle schools and junior highs.
Chapel Dedication and Grand Opening of
Regina High School, Warren.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our
generous supporters who attended the Dedication Mass on October
14, 2007, as well as those that came to our Grand Opening
celebration in the afternoon. Their positive comments made us
feel their support of our Mission. They believe that Regina is
vital, not only for educating young women, but also for
strengthening their faith and values. Many indicated that they
see us as building a lifestyle that will make our students
future leaders in the Church and in the community.

Bishop Earl Boyea presided over the
consecration of the new Chapel where he spoke eloquently on the
value of Catholic education in the Archdiocese, affirming a
letter we received from Cardinal Adam Maida who called Regina
High School “a very important part of the Archdiocese.”
As we continue our commitment and dedication
to the on-going mission of Catholic education of young women in
the Archdiocese of Detroit, we ask that you partner with us so
that every young woman who wants to, has a chance to be
“transformed into a woman of faith and vision in the Franciscan
tradition” and be prepared for their life beyond Regina High
School.
