English/Creative Writing while studying Literature with Joyce Carol Oates/Smith and her husband—Professor
Raymond Smith –both of whom are now teaching at Princeton University.
Studying with these esteemed writers/ professors was a highpoint in her academic
career. Mrs. Weinert also raised three children. She currently enjoys teaching her
students at Regina High School.
