Regina High School members of Teens I.N.C., led by Moderator Rosemary Wagner, decided to write Christmas cards to soldiers as a way to show their gratitude to those fighting for our freedom during the holiday season. "We thought as a group it would be a nice to share our thanks for all that they do as well as wishing a happy holiday to all," said Wagner. In merriment of the season, students also wrote Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa cards.
The cards were mailed to troops in Afghanistan and an email with pictures was sent to Ms. Wagner expressing their appreciation.

Regina High School Students Soar in AP Program
Regina High School strives to prepare young women for the challenges of the 21st century through its highly successful Advanced Placement (AP) program. This extensive AP program allows students to earn college credits and learn at the college level. Currently, eight AP tests are offered in Science, Math, Social Studies and English.
In 2011, 77% of the graduating class earned a passing score or higher on at least one AP test. This greatly surpasses the average for the State of Michigan (15% for seniors in 2010, the most recent data available). In addition, nearly 19% of the graduating class was recognized with the distinction of "AP Scholar" or higher, identifying a student who received passing scores or higher on three or more AP tests.
